ABOUT THE ARTIST
A lifelong New Mexico resident, my interest in photography was piqued by a US Air Force assignment to Germany in 1974. I was fascinated by the architecture and history that I found there. I got a part time job at the base audio-photo store and learned about equipment and technique.

When I returned from Europe it was with a heightened sense of awareness of the beauty that is New Mexico and the American Southwest. I was driven to capture my vision of this awesome landscape and gather a record of an often fragile environment.
